Title: Post Event Write-up Clay Pigeon Shoot

Clay Shoot

PLACE OF EVENT: WEST KENT SHOOTING SCHOOL, PADDOCK WOOD, KENT

Date of Event: 1st May 2008

This years Clay Shoot was again held at the West Kent Shooting School on Thursday 1st May 2008. Attended by some 30 Women in Property members and enjoyed by all.

The day began with some rather black clouds overhead and as morning tea took place the heavens opened, leaving us all to believe that we would be getting rather wet !! Miraculously, the rain stopped, just in time for us to head out for our practice round and stayed away for the rest of the day.

Teams from Finers Stephens Innocent, Indigo Planning, Trowers & Hamlins, Nathaniel Lichfield and Jones Lang LaSalle along with individuals from 3DReid, Brachers and Grant Thornton attended and this year, the level of skill appeared to be evenly matched.

Practice round over, we headed back to the Club House for a tea break and then onto the scoring round for another 25 shots.

This was all finished off with a 3 women pheasant flush, to give us more time to practice our aim.

Then it was back to the Club House for a late lunch and time to network.

1st prize was awarded to Anna Rule of Morley FM and 2nd prize went to Joanne Osgerby, no coincidence that she planned the whole event in the 1st place !!!

All in all, a great day enjoyed by everyone, with a few sore shoulders and shotgun graizes to show.
