National Chairman's Reception - London Launch of 2008 Student Awards |
Location: |
Manton Foyer, Tate Britain London |
The Women in Property National Student Awards were launched in 2007 to mark the 20th Birthday of the Association. Fuelled by their success, we are again running the scheme, with 23 Universities putting forward their rising stars, a total of 38 students from across the country.
The Awards are open to second year, female students studying a Built Environment course and are run in conjunction with the Construction Youth Trust (CYT).
Our aspiration, as an organisation, is to recognise excellence, encourage up and coming talent and nurture the role models of tomorrow.
The Awards…
• Highlight real potential
• Identify career options
• Provide practical work placements
Thanks to our sponsors…
Women in Property is pleased and honoured that some of the most respected businesses in the industry are sponsoring the 2008 Awards, many for a second time. For them, they understand that their investment now will reap rewards for the industry when these students enter the professional world.
Argent, Byrne Group, Cushman & Wakefield, HBOS plc, Jones Lang LaSalle and Woods Bagot are our national sponsors, with the RICS supporting us as industry partner.
Attending the Tate Britain reception were National Winner of 2007, Fiona Forrest from Glasgow Caldenonian University, South East regional winner, Sarah Hopkins from Kingston University and Midlands regional winner, Lisa Hastilow from Birmingham City University.
